HOLCIM y ASAVA impulsan la construcción de una edificación sostenible en el centro de Madrid que permitirá el ahorro de más de 114 toneladas de CO2, promovida por EQUILIS.
EQUILIS, HOLCIM y ASAVA, siempre preocupados por la sostenibilidad de sus construcciones, han unido fuerzas para la ejecución de la obra residencial de lujo en el centro de Madrid, c/ Velázquez nº 70, bajo un diseño y ejecución hacia una construcción de baja huella de carbono.
Ésta es una excelente noticia para el futuro de nuestro sector. En la construcción de este edificio se emplearán 1.500 m3 de ECOPact, el hormigón de baja huella de carbono de HOLCIM, que permitirá evitar la emisión de más de 114 toneladas de CO2.
En esta promoción de viviendas de EQUILIS y ejecutada por ASAVA, se ha respetado la fachada histórica del edificio preexistente que data de finales del s. XIX y se ha proyectado una estructura mixta con forjados de losas de hormigón armado y estructura vertical metalizada y de hormigón. El hormigón ECOPact, capaz de reducir, a través de mezclas optimizadas, el contenido de CO2 entre un 30% y un 70% con respecto a otros hormigones tradicionales, se aplicará en la construcción de elementos estructurales como zapatas en cimentación, losas armadas, soleras, pilares, forjados, etc.
Además, gran parte del suministro en obra de esta solución se realiza a través de hormigoneras 100% eléctricas de las que dispone HOLCIM, reduciendo también así la huella de carbono durante su transporte. Se trata de dos camiones de cero emisiones y de funcionamiento silencioso, que contribuyen a la reducción de la huella de carbono y minimizan la contaminación acústica.
La obra, que actualmente se encuentra al 20% de su ejecución, contará con gimnasio, piscina cubierta, trasteros y viviendas con domótica y suelo radiante, estando prevista su finalización para agosto de 2025.
