El mercado de los parques comerciales en España está experimentando un crecimiento acelerado. Según un estudio reciente de Savills, entre 2024 y 2025 se espera la apertura de 33 nuevos parques comerciales, de los cuales 11 abrirán en 2024, sumando más de 120.000 m² de Superficie Bruta Alquilable al cierre del año. Con estas nuevas aperturas, los parques comerciales representarán el 20% del total de la SBA en España, un aumento considerable respecto al 15% de hace diez años.
Este formato ha evolucionado para adaptarse a las nuevas demandas del consumidor, priorizando espacios sostenibles y ampliando su oferta más allá del retail tradicional. Desde 2020, el mercado ha registrado más de 110 nuevas aperturas en medianas superficies.
